Welcome to The Stroke Sisterhood coffee corner!
Think of this circle as the internet equivalent to settling down in a cosy cafe with your favourite beverage, sharing anecdotes and drowning out the noise of daily life-after-stroke. We know how isolating it can be not being able to be completely honest about how stroke affects your life to those who can never truly understand, so it’s up to us to provide that small but mighty tonic.
We’re here for whatever you desire. A simple distraction? Some specific, non-judgemental advice? To find your lane? To meet and get to know other like-minded women you can completely relate to? If this sounds like you, you’re in the right place. You are not alone and you belong here.
The Stroke Sisterhood is completely free with no added clauses but if you’d like to donate to keep the not-for-profit afloat, we’d really appreciate a coffee

Stroke stories
We all have a story to tell about the journey we’ve been on, whether we’re at the start of the rollercoaster or veering off to the light at the end of the tunnel. Your warming words have the power to be the source of hope for somebody else, or even just a heavy weight off your own mind!
Blog contributions
All it takes for a great, thought-provoking article is an idea, some life experience and a tap of your keyboard. Blogging doesn’t have to be perfect, in fact raw and unfiltered is what we prefer. There isn’t a theme in mind when writing blog posts for The Stroke Sisterhood, as long as relevancy is key.
Advice page

It becomes integrated into your life not by choice and can feel like you’re being governed by something you never asked for. It’s natural to have questions and to need a hand navigating unfamiliar territory - we’re here to tackle those topics!
